What the walk covers
The village on foot with a guide, plus a hot spring soak. The walking route — station, park, foot baths, museum, Thermal Valley — is free, signposted, and about twenty minutes end to end. The soak is worth NT$150 to $550 depending where.

Because a guided heritage walk is a genuinely good idea in Beitou. The 1913 bathhouse and the Japanese-era village reward someone explaining them. When this has feedback showing the guiding justifies the price, our verdict changes.
